Using Cognitive Processing Therapy to Treat PTSD in Diverse Patient Presentations

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a time-limited, predominantly cognitive therapy for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), that has been established as a first-line treatment for PTSD in international treatment guidelines. This workshop will provide 1) a review of the research supporting CPT, 2) an overview of the CPT sessions content and 3) information on how CPT effectively can be implemented with diverse populations and individuals suffering from significant trauma.
