Three Perspectives, One Purpose:
The power of storytelling to improve health outcomes

Speakers:

This presentation illustrates the importance of different perspectives to connect patients and providers, infuse medical practice with humanism, and transform exam rooms, consultations, and daily rounds from impersonal procedures to individualized, valuable conversations.

Using a 40-minute structured narrative, rich with 200 visuals, the speakers will offer a model for collaboration as they show how story-telling and story-hearing can foster better communication among all members of a patient’s care team to improve outcomes.
