Alla Grishok Named GSI Co-Director
The Genome Science Institute is pleased to announce that Alla Grishok, PhD will become Co-Director starting August 1, 2017. Dr. Grishok is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry, and her research focuses on gene regulation by RNA and epigenetics. She came to BUSM from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, Columbia University in April 2016. Prior to working at Columbia, she was a post-doc with Philip Sharp at MIT, and received her PhD with Craig Mello at U Mass Worcester. We are very pleased to have her working with the GSI.
