It’s time to sharpen your pencils and dust off those backpacks – class is back in session!
There’s no better way to start the new academic year than by attending Back to School Sessions with the CRRO! In Fall 2025 we’ll be offering two 3-hour sessions of practical learning accompanied by interactive activities and cases on two of our most requested topics. Thursday, October 9th, 11am-2pm – Screening and Recruiting Research Participants: Strategies and Practices for Success

Back to School Sessions will take place in-person on the BU Medical Campus, Evans Room 720. Registration is limited to 25 participants.
NOTE: Registrations are now full and we are running a WAITLIST. Please use the links above to be added to our waitlists, which will operate on a first come first serve basis.
General Educational Objectives:
- Gain understanding through experiential learning through examples, case studies, and hands-on activities
- Identify and apply best practices for conduct of human subjects research
Lunch from local vendors will be served.
All attendees should watch the required pre-requisite videos. A link to the videos will be distributed 2 weeks prior to the trainings.
This training can count towards SOCRA and ACRP re-certification. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion after the training.
