Dr. Ravid is an investigator at the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute, where her research focuses on blood stem cells, cardiovascular biology, and cell cycle regulation. She leads an American Heart Association (AHA)-funded research center dedicated to investigating the connections between cancer including blood cancers and cardiovascular disease, with a particular emphasis on understanding and reducing health disparities.
