“A Follow-up Study for Causes of Cancer in Black Women”

Dr. Julie Palmer and colleagues in the Black Women’s Health Study,
based at the Slone Epidemiology Center at Boston University, have been
studying exposures and outcomes in this understudied cohort for decades.
Their multidisciplinary approach builds on insights from population
sciences to identify important novel associations and mechanisms linked
to cancer progression in this cohort, originally drawn from 59,000
participants.
