Congratulations to Drs. Chris Reardon and Matt Jones for being recognized for their remarkable work in medicine and education by the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine! These annual awards are from the Office of the Dean and designed to recognize exceptional accomplishments from those in our medical school.

Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award: Christine Campbell Reardon, MD

This award, sponsored by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation, is given to one faculty member each year who personifies the Foundation’s ideals of “outstanding compassion in the delivery of care, respect for patients, their families, and healthcare colleagues, as well as demonstrated clinical excellence.”

Educator of the Year for PhD students: Matthew R. Jones, PhD

This award recognizes one BU Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine faculty member for delivering exceptional education to BU Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine graduate students in our PhD programs.
