The Daskalakis’ Neurogenomics and Translational Bioinformatics lab bridges the gap between data science and neurobiology of stress related mental disorders. By integrating genetics, bioinformatics, machine learning, and experimental models to understand the interaction between stress and the brain, the lab employs a systems biology translational approach to decode how stress shapes the brain—from genetic architecture to clinical applications.
