Welcome to Daniel Taub, Ph.D., who has joined our faculty as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, Physiology & Biophysics!
The Taub Lab will examine central neural circuits in somatosensation (the sensations of touch, temperature, and pain) and how these circuits change in different pain states and conditions, notably inherited peripheral neuropathies. The lab is also interested in the genomic mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration in somatosensory neurons.
