COVID-19 Response

Many of our BMC ID physicians have been on local and national media, as they have been called upon to provide expertise and insight. Section Chief Tamar Barlam, MD, recently co-authored a Boston-Globe article with her fellow ID Chiefs advising eligible unvaccinated people to get vaccinated and addressing some of the most common misconceptions about COVID vaccines. With the recent increase of COVID cases, mostly due to the more transmissible Delta variant, unvaccinated individuals remain vulnerable and at risk for serious disease. Thanks to the entire ID team for helping keep our patients and staff safe!
