Health Economics in Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease–Related Dementias (AD/ADRD) Mini-Symposium
Boston University hosted the inaugural Health Economics in Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease–Related Dementias (AD/ADRD) Mini-Symposium in collaboration with the NBER Coordinating Center on the Economics of AD/ADRD Prevention, Treatment, and Care.
The session, “Why Health Economics Should Matter to My Research in ADRD,” featured presentations and a panel discussion with leading health economists Norma Coe, David Cutler, and Amitabh Chandra. The speakers discussed how economic perspectives can inform research on prevention, treatment, and care in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
