Dr. Gordon is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. Her academic interests include the role of race and ethnicity in the medical encounter, and identifying the critical factors for successful cross-cultural medical encounters. She teaches these skills to residents and medical students through piloting of the RESPECT model developed by the task force at Boston Medical Center.
