This is the only undergraduate program at Boston University School of Medicine. It is a joint program with Metropolitan College (www.bu.edu/met). The BLCS program prepares students for jobs and careers in the biomedical fields, including bench research and clinical research. Please visit the program at www.bu.edu/biotech

There are a number of scholarships available, including scholarships for

  • parents who have children in the Boston or Chelsea Public Schools
  • community college graduates
  • BMC employees
  • adults returning to school
  • cancer patients and survivors

Mission

The BLCS program offers the B.S. degree (128 credits) and 16-credit Certificates in Biotechnology and Clinical Research. It is highly flexibly, offering classes in the evening and Saturday morning.

Maybe it’s time to obtain a 16-credit Certificate in Biotechnology or Certificate in Clinical Research or earn a B.S. degree.
