CREST Training Program

Dr. Felson directs the CREST (Clinical Research Training) Program now under the auspices of the Training and Education component of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). Since its inception in 1999 as a K30, the CREST Program has trained and mentored fellows and junior faculty interested in pursuing clinical research careers. The primary components of the CREST program at BUSM include a biweekly seminar, research and career mentoring, an IRB internship and course work leading to an advanced degree at BU School of Public Health and BU School of Medicine’s MSCI Program.

Students with a doctoral degree in the health sciences (MD, DDS, DMD, or PhD) are eligible to apply to the CREST program for comprehensive training in clinical research including epidemiology, clinical epidemiology, health services research, biobehavioral research and translational research.
