Pietro Cottone Speaks at NIDA’s Mentored K Awardees Meeting
Congratulations to Dr. Pietro Cottone, Assistant Professor of Pharmacology and Psychiatry, who was invited to speak at the National Institute on Drug Abuses’s Mentored K Awardees Meeting: Nuts and Bolts of Building Research Independence, held on July 25-26, 2011 at the Rockville Hilton Hotel and Meeting Center in Maryland.
Pietro was selected because of his outstanding progress on his mentored K99/R00 and for his success in obtaining research funding. The title of his presentation was “Lessons Learned Along the Way” and was aimed at providing insights and practical advised to other senior post-docs and junior faculty members.
