Welcome to Samantha Melnick, MSN, AGNP and Lauren McCall, PA

We are delighted to welcome two new APP’s to the section this week!

Samantha Melnick, MSN, AGNP, will be starting in a new position as a neuro-oncology APP. In this capacity, she will be working directly with Peter Everett on the medical oncology side and with the neurosurgical team on the surgical side to support and coordinate the care of patients with both primary and metastatic CNS malignancies. Samantha received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Quinnipiac University and a Masters of Science degree as an adult/geriatric nurse practitioner from Northeastern University. She has prior experience as both a Radiation Oncology nurse at Tufts Medical Center, and as a nurse for the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program.

Lauren McCall, PA, will be joining our hematology and hematology malignancy program, working with Mark Sloan and Fabio Petrocca. Lauren received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Williams College where she was captain of the varsity women’s basketball team and a recipient of the All-Academic Award from the New England Small College Athletic Conference. She has also worked as a member of AmeriCorps and as a research coordinator in the Division of Sports Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Lauren completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Boston University School of Medicine.
