Jose Acevedo, MD, Accepts Offer to Join Section
We are excited to announce that Jose Acevedo, MD, has accepted an offer to join the section of Hematology/Oncology at Boston University and Boston Medical Center. Dr. Acevedo will join our breast oncology group after completing his fellowship this spring. Dr. Acevedo received his medical degree from the Universidad CES Escuela de Medicine in Columbia where he won several awards for his clinical research. He subsequently completed his internship in internal medicine at Boston University and is currently a senior fellow in our program. He has impressed everyone with his outstanding clinical skills, his commitment to his patients, and his interests in clinical research. Among his many accomplishments, his article on treating advanced HR positive ERBB2 negative breast cancer was recently featured in the ASCO Post.
