World Alzheimer’s Month

World Alzheimer’s Month is September and September 21^st is World Alzheimer’s Day. This year’s theme, “Know Dementia, Know Alzheimer’s,” for the month focuses on diagnosing Alzheimer’s and dementia, along with supporting people post-diagnosis. This year, the Geriatrics section is participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Boston. Check out our BMC Team Page to join or support us. We are also wearing purple on September 21^st to raise awareness.
