2019 FriendshipWorks Gala
Geriatrics faculty and staff were proud to support the FrienshipWorks 35th Anniversary Gala at the Boston Park Plaza, November 21, 2019. FriendshipWorks is a local organization that works to “reduce social isolation, enhance quality of life, and preserve the dignity of older adults in Greater Boston” by recruiting volunteers of all ages to spend quality time with the seniors in our community.
As advocates for the health of our seniors, we know that emotional and mental health are just as important as physical health and we are grateful to partner with such an inspiring group.
