Honoring Dr. George Rosenthal’s 50 Years of Service
The Geriatrics Section recently recognized George Rosenthal, M.D. with a surprise luncheon for his 50 years of service to the Boston University Medical Center.
Dr. Rosenthal has spent his entire career at BMC and BUSM teaching and providing care to patients. Since his retirement in 2012, he has continued to teach and mentor BUSM students and other trainees as well as interview many applicants for medical school and residency.
Dr. Rosenthal continues to serve as a role model and teacher, and is also celebrated for his compassion, kindness and dedication to his trainees, staff, colleagues and former patients.
The Geriatrics student workroom was named in his honor.
