Cecelia Slayter Named Distinguished Staff of the Month for September

The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Cecelia Slayter has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for September.

The administrative manager for the department of pathology & laboratory medicine, Cecelia joined our community in October 1983.

Her nominators say, “Celia is quiet, but mighty, and for 41 years has provided unwavering support and expertise to the members of the department and many other students, staff and faculty on the Medical Campus. She has done so with the utmost professionalism, dedication, and a cheerful and unassuming disposition.

“She works effectively with staff from other departments for integrated courses with pathology content and instructors.

“Celia is respected and loved by everyone who knows her!”
