Suzanne Sarfaty, MD, Named January’s Distinguished Faculty of the Month 

head and shoulders of woman with dark shoulder length curly hair with stethescope around her neckThe Faculty Affairs Office is pleased to announce that Associate Professor of Medicine Suzanne Sarfaty, MD, has been named January’s Distinguished Faculty of the Month. 

Sarfaty is a Double Terrier, completing her undergraduate and medical degrees at Boston University, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the former Boston City Hospital, now known as Boston Medical Center. She sees patients at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center and is a faculty advisor for the BUMC Outreach Van Project, an important initiative that helps the homeless and underserved populations in the East Boston neighborhood.

Her nominators said, “Dr. Sarfaty is an excellent advisor and mentor to medical students.

“She goes above and beyond to help and we are so grateful for the time she devotes to us.”
