Robert Bouchie, Named Distinguished Staff of the Month for August

The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Robert Bouchie, laboratory manager in the department of anatomy & neurobiology, has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for August.

Rob joined the Medical Campus in spring 2001.  His nominators say he is a “true professional in dealing with donors, both before and after their death, as well as communicating with family members.

“He started a memorial service several years ago for the individuals who donated their bodies to BU, and he reminds students and faculty that the donors are real people who made a sacrifice so that the next generation of health care providers, researchers and forensic scientists can learn.

“Rob is a wonderful colleague.”
