Transitional Opioid Program

The Transitional Opioid Program (TOP) is a program that provides short-course (90 days) of transitional methadone for hospitalized opioid dependent patients after discharge from Boston Medical Center.  Two major goals of this program are to increase access to important health and substance abuse related services and enhance clients’ harm reduction skills.
This program was funded by the Department of Public Health, HIV/AIDS Bureau and Bureau of Substance Abuse Services.
