WRAT-4 Reading Test Questions

How do we determine on spot if they are reading at a 3rd grade level? And, if they only have to read at a 3rd grade level, is there reason administer words like terpsichorean, etc.?

The cut off score is part of the packet on the website and is also in the training manual. Basically, it is a total score greater than or equal to 24, which is 24 words pronounced correctly. We do actually use the WRAT-4 scaled score. While criteria for being in the study is above a third grade reading level, we use these scores in statistical analysis and the describe our population.
