SUMMARY OF ITEMS ADDED TO MANUAL:
General items:
- Do not chew gum during testing
- Materials were added to what should be in testing kit
- “SC = self correct” was added to the list of abbreviations
- Time was specified to always be recorded in standard not military time
- Manual was divided more clearly to separate screening from testing, since sometime these two sessions may occur on different days
- The manual was updated to include all of the new information in the questions below.
VAMS
- Administration directions were added
- This is to be administered before the NAB Digits forward
- There is an error in the directions for placing a mark in the middle. Please be aware that it should read, “And, if you are feeling sort of afraid, I want you to place one mark somewhere in the middle of this line.” The directions currently say the mark should be placed on the top. This is incorrect.
Timed Up and Go (TUG)
- Administration has been changed. Examiner will first demonstrate task and then will as the participant to do the task twice.
- This has also been corrected on the video
