Our Section’s Researchers Were Featured in Scleroderma News

We are thrilled to share that a study led by our researchers has been featured in Scleroderma News! The study, titled “Periostin Overexpression in Scleroderma Cardiac Tissue and Its Utility as a Marker for Disease Complications,” explores the potential of periostin as a biomarker for predicting cardiac involvement in systemic sclerosis (SSc).

Congratulations to Fatima El-Adili, Maria Trojanowska, and Andreea M. Bujor for this important contribution to the field! Their work provides new insights into the role of periostin in SSc and may help guide future research and clinical applications.

The full article discussing their findings can be read here.
