Application Process
Application Process
The Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Program at Boston University Medical Center is accepting applications through the ERAS application system:
We participate in the NRMP subspecialty match. Review of applications for the July 1, 2026 start will begin on the ERAS release date to programs on July 16, 2025 and continue on a rolling basis. Applicants are invited for an interview after review of their application. Interviews are considered a critical part of the application process and take place on Fridays in September and October 2025.
For the 2025 for July 2026 start date recruitment season, applicants now will have 5 ‘untiered’ preference signals to show their interest in particular programs. The BU Allergy/Immunology Fellowship Program will be participating in Preference Signaling. Preference Signaling will be used to aid programs in selecting applicants to invite to interview. Signaling will not play a role in later stages of recruitment, most notably follow-up communications and for generating rank lists.
This recruitment season will be conducted virtually in an effort to promote equity and in line with AAMC guidance.
The format will be optimized such that applicants who are invited to interview gain the best possible exposure to the BUMC A/I training experience under the circumstances of a ‘remote visit’. Typically, the interview day starts at 10AM and is usually completed by 3:30PM.
