Application Process

The Boston University Allergy and Immunology Training Program is accepting applications through the ERAS application system:

We participate in the NRMP subspecialty match. Review of applications for the July 1, 2021 start will begin on the ERAS release date in mid August 2020 and continue on a rolling basis. Applicants are invited for an interview after review of their application. Interviews are considered an important part of the application process, and take place on Fridays from early-mid September through October.

Typically, the interview day starts at 9AM and is usually completed by 3:30PM. This recruitment season will be conducted virtually due the recent COVID-19 pandemic, and the format will be modified to optimize applicants who are invited to interview to gain the best possible exposure to the BUMC A/I training experience under the circumstances of a ‘remote visit’.

Under-represented minority candidates are encouraged to apply (www.bmc.org/minority). URM_Welcome_Video_THANK_YOU!!

Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, for this interview season, we will be converting our traditional “in-person” interview days to all virtual interview days.  We will continue to use the ERAS system to identify candidates who we think will be a good match for our fellowship. Once invited, applicants who have decided to pursue their application to our Program will have access to additional material to view in order to best assess mutual interest between our Program and applicants.
