Sharing Research at the World Parkinson Congress
Members of our Parkinson Disease and Movement Disorders group joined researchers at Boston University Center of Neurorehabilitation at the seventh World Parkinson Congress (WPC) held May 24th – May 27th in Phoenix, Arizona. The group presented several posters. The WPC is the only event of its kind bringing together neuroscientists, clinical researchers, clinicians (MD, RN, NP, PA, SW), rehabilitation specialists (PT, OT, SLP, MT), nutritionists, people with Parkinson’s, care partners, and other community members. Our team has participated in all seven Congresses and looks forward to participating in the next event in Quebec City, Canada June 26th – 29th. This year’s BUMC attendees included Ray James, RN, MSCR, Marie Saint-Hilaire, MD, FRCPC, and Cathi A. Thomas, RN, MSN.
