Congratulations Ray James RN, MSCR

Ray James RN, MSCR, a Clinical Research Nurse Specialist in the BU PD and Movement Disorders Center recently was recognized by the Boston University School of Medicine and presented the Community Service and Engagement Award by Dean ad interim Hee-Young Park. Dr. Kara Smith, Section chief of the Movement Disorder Center, described Ray’s contributions as consistently demonstrating a high level of expertise in all aspects of clinical research. An incredibly and genuinely kind and empathetic person, he listens to patients and trainees and gives his full effort in every task he undertakes. “He is the best research coordinator I have ever worked with; his exceptional knowledge, commitment, and work ethic are without parallel.” Ray is the lead Project Manager on the Michael J Fox funded PPMI trial and serves on the PPMI Steering committee. He is an active member of the Parkinson Study Group and has participated in over twenty large clinical trials. Congratulations, Ray!
