Stephanie Bissonnette, DO, MPH, from the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Boston University Medical Campus presented at this year’s Parkinson’s Fitness Educational Symposium in Danvers, MA. The program, entitled “Living Well with Parkinson’s – A Life-Management Symposium,” brought together specialists from across the North Shore and greater Boston. The first half of the event focused on resilience in the face of chronic illness. During this section of the program Dr. Bissonnette presented information on how to best communicate with a movement disorder specialist to have the best outcomes and live the best possible life. Thank you to Parkinson’s Fitness for hosting this educational programming.
