Sexual and gender minorities (e.g., lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer [LGBTQ] persons) have unique health care needs. The GenderCare Center is a group of multidisciplinary providers at Boston Medical Center who collaborate to provide gender-related care to transgender and gender-diverse patients from all over New England. The center aims to provide accessible, individualized, and comprehensive gender-affirming care while also advancing education, research, and advocacy efforts across New England and beyond.
