Vanessa Loukas Awarded Provider of the Year for Medicine by BMC Nurses

Every year during National Nurses Week, BMC nursing staff are asked to nominate colleagues for provider excellence awards. This year, the Section of GIM’s own Vanessa Loukas, MSN, FNP-C, CARN-AP has won Provider of the Year for Medicine!

She makes invaluable contributions to the clinic daily and has provided countless trainings to staff to improve patient care in the areas of harm reduction, low barrier treatment, psychiatric conditions and infectious disease prevention and treatment. Vanessa Loukas will be honored during Nurses Week (May 6-12) at the BMC awards ceremony. Provider of the Year awards will be presented on May 9th at approximately 2:45pm in the FGH building.
