“Inside” B.U. Electives

The School of Medicine has a few established affiliations that are considered “inside electives.” Students must be conversant with the language spoken in the host country unless there is a provision for interpreters or the elective is dedicated to language acquisition. The following countries sponsor BU medical students students for inside electives. Faculty approval for each elective may be different.

• Child Family Health International (any electives sponsored by this organization are eligible)
• Israel (currently not being offered due to conflict in region)
• Lesotho (this elective is based in the Family Medicine Dept at BMC)

Inside Medical Spanish Electives
