“Fishing for Connections: Cell Fate Regulation in Tendon Development and Regeneration”
Dr. Galloway is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Galloway received her B.A. in Biology from Johns Hopkins University and her Ph.D. from the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program at Harvard University. Dr. Galloway is the Laurie and Mason Tenaglia MGH Research Scholar and she co-leads the Harvard Stem Cell Institute Musculoskeletal Disease Program. Her laboratory uses zebrafish and mouse genetics to understand how tendons form, organize, and regenerate, with the ultimate goal of applying this knowledge to develop improved therapies for human tendon injuries.
