Summary

Dr. Allison Perz , MD is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Perz received her medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her intern year at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and her dermatology residency at Boston University/Boston Medical Center, during which she served as academic chief resident.

Research Interests

Dr. Perz’s clinical interests in dermatology include improving access to dermatologic care, urgent and inpatient dermatology, psychodermatology, and infectious diseases. Her research interests include patient quality of life and access to care. She is also passionate about medical student and resident education, and as a resident was involved in designing and teaching the medical student pre-clinical dermatology curriculum.
