Jessica Restrepo Named March’s Distinguished Staff of the Month

The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Jessica Restrepo has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for March.

Jessica is the clerkship coordinator for the department of medicine/geriatrics, managing the schedule for up to 20 fourth-year MD students a month where each student engages in a different activity daily, as well as the complex schedule of 12 clinically active faculty. She joined the BUSM community in September 2017.

Her nominators said, “During the national pandemic we had to move to a virtual clerkship overnight, as well as accelerate the clerkship so the students could meet the early graduation requirement. Jessica assisted all faculty with turning their didactic sessions into interactive zoom sessions. She held one-on-one sessions with faculty and students to troubleshoot problems and she converted all of our clinical pocket cards to easy-to-read online tools.
