Schedule of Seminars
Seminars are held in the Evans Biomedical Research Center (X building), room X715 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m
As postdoctoral fellows, the NIH requires classes dedicated to ethics in science. BUMC has a Responsible Conduct in Research Series, consisting of four, two- hour classes: two are offered in the fall semester and 2 are offered in the spring semester. Trainees are required to attend all 4 classes (in any order). Please refer to the following website for more information. http://www.bu.edu/orc/rcr/
Trainees are also are required to attend a biostatistic class each year. Each fall semester, a two-session (one hour each session) course is taught by Mike LaValley, PhD, from the Biostatistics Department. This is a dynamic class which is catered to the needs of the current trainees. Fellows must attend both sessions each year while on the training grant.
