Preventive Medicine Residents

Through a grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) the Program for Integrative Medicine and Health Care Disparities and the Preventive Medicine Residency program at Boston Medical Center created integrative medicine curriculum for Preventive Medicine residents.

Preventive Medicine residents at BMC are required to complete a clinical rotation in integrative medicine which requires participation in the 8 week Integrative Medicine Group Visits program and seeing integrative medicine consults. They are also required to complete online curriculum on dietary supplements; participate in one or more CAM therapies offered at BMC; attend lecture club and seminar on integrative medicine; draft and follow a self-care wellness plan; and completed assigned integrative medicine readings.
