Eligibility and Application Requirements
Thank you for your interest in the Boston University Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program!
Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics or OB-GYN. Additionally, applicants must be graduates of, or in the final year of an ACGME accredited clinical residency program and be committed to developing skills in clinical research. Applications are reviewed on a “rolling basis” between 18 months to 6 months prior to the start of the fellowship.
For an initial review of an applicant’s qualifications, please send a curriculum vitae (CV) and Personal Statement of Interest to Ms. Linda Neville (see below). After an initial review, applicants will be invited to complete the application process.
801 Massachusetts Ave, 2nd floor Boston, MA 02118
A completed application, personal statement, curriculum vitae and at least three references to the Fellowship program are required. After review by the Fellowship Executive Committee decisions to offer an interview are made. Interviews are on-site and are a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the program. You will get a chance to meet some of the fellows as well as senior faculty. Applicants are asked about their background and career goals, and interests/preferences regarding the curriculum options.
