Biography

I earned my baccalaureate degree from Bates College in 1978. I received my medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1990. In 1993 I completed a three-year residency in Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I completed a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Children’s Hospital in Boston in 1995. I am board certified in both pediatrics and adolescent medicine, and am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I subsequently received a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Currently, I am a clinical instructor at Harvard and Tufts Medical Schools and Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine.
