Tongzhen Xie, Ph.D.

This is my research summary: My research focuses on the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms underlying chronic pain, including both the sensory and affective components of neuropathic pain. I use a multidisciplinary approach that integrates in vivo pharmacology, RNA-seq, advanced imaging, and molecular biochemistry to understand pain mechanisms and identify potential therapeutic targets.
