In this hour, Professor Lan Zhou discusses the structure of an original research manuscript, using the example of testing the diagnostic sensitivity of skin biopsy in the diagnosis of small fiber neuropathy in Chinese Americans. She discusses the need to place the research in its context, to clearly convey the rationale and motivation for the study, to write clearly and concisely, while conveying the impact of the work. Also, she discusses her tips on how to decide which journal to submit your manuscript.
