Carl Streed, MD
Carl Streed, MD was recognized by the American Medical Association for Outstanding LGBTQIA+ Healthcare in July, by receiving the 2023 Excellence in LGBTQ Health Award. The annual award is presented to doctors who care for and treat patients from underserved communities and show compassion through their work. Dr. Streed leads research at the GenderCare Center at Boston Medical Center, which provides gender-affirming care. Awards – AMA Foundation
