3/25 BUSM 1st-and 2nd-year Updates

Dear 1st- and 2nd- year Students,

I wanted to send you an email with some updates and clarifications.

As per President Brown’s previous email, all first-year classes will be virtual until the end of the semester. You will not return for in-person classes but are expected to participate in the virtual curriculum for EPH, Prism and Doctoring 1, as scheduled.

BUSM is administering all exams via remote proctoring software, including future remediation exams. We will likely need to consolidate into fewer remediation dates and will directly contact affected students.

Note that Governor Baker’s order temporarily closes non-essential businesses and organizations starting at noon on March 24, prohibits gatherings of more than 10 people, and directs the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to issue a “Stay at Home” advisory for the next two weeks. Therefore, please stay at home as much as possible. If you do study in groups, please follow social distancing guidelines.

Regards,
Priya
