COVID-19 Health Reminder

Re: COVID-19 Health Reminder
If any faculty/researchers/staff/visiting scholars have concerns with COVID-19 symptoms or a potential exposure risk to a known COVID-19 positive individual:
- Faculty/staff/visiting scholars should call their primary care provider and Occupational Health at 617-353-6630.
- Researchers should call their primary care provider and Research Occupational Health at 617-358-7647.
- Occupational Health will review symptoms, exposure risk, close contacts, known contacts and travel which have occurred in the last 14-days.
- Symptoms of concern may include:
- Fever (measured over 100.4 degrees F)
- Chills with or without fever
- Muscle aches
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Shortness of breath
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Nasal congestion
- Diarrhea with respiratory symptoms
- Symptoms of concern may include:
- Occupational Health will then make a determination as to the employee’s disposition. If Occupational Health determines that a 14-day quarantine is warranted, the supervisor will receive a work status form indicating the dates of quarantine, if applicable.
- Anyone advised to self-quarantine for 14-days will be required to complete the form found at the following link: http://www.bu.edu/buohc/covid-19/
