Re:      COVID-19 Health Reminder

If any faculty/researchers/staff/visiting scholars have concerns with COVID-19 symptoms or a potential exposure risk to a known COVID-19 positive individual:

  • Faculty/staff/visiting scholars should call their primary care provider and Occupational Health at 617-353-6630.
  • Researchers should call their primary care provider and Research Occupational Health at 617-358-7647.
  • Occupational Health will review symptoms, exposure risk, close contacts, known contacts and travel which have occurred in the last 14-days.
    • Symptoms of concern may include:
      • Fever (measured over 100.4 degrees F)
      • Chills with or without fever
      • Muscle aches
      • Fatigue
      • Headache
      • Shortness of breath
      • Cough
      • Sore throat
      • Nasal congestion
      • Diarrhea with respiratory symptoms
    • Occupational Health will then make a determination as to the employee’s disposition. If Occupational Health determines that a 14-day quarantine is warranted, the supervisor will receive a work status form indicating the dates of quarantine, if applicable.
