Sleep Study Ongoing at Boston University Vision & Cognition Lab

Sleep and Cognition in Parkinson’s Disease: A Research Study at Boston University

Sleep problems are common in Parkinson’s disease.  This study will examine how sleep problems may affect cognition (thinking), perception, and mood.

You will be assessed for cognition, perception, and mood. You will be asked to answer sleep questionnaires, keep a sleep diary, and wear small activity monitors for a week.  You will sleep at home as usual.

We are looking for volunteers who:

  • Are in good general health with no neurological disorders
    OR
  • Have a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease without dementia

If you agree to participate in this research study, you will be reimbursed for your efforts.
