BU Faculty to Present at APDA Parkinson’s Good Start Program on the Cape

Doctors Stephanie Bissonnette, DO, MPH; Okeanis Vaou, MD; and Nurse Coordinator of the APDA I & R Center Cathi Thomas, MS, RN; all from the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Boston University Medical Campus; will participate in the 2019 Parkinson’s Good Start Program on Cape Cod in conjunction with specialists from Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cape Cod. The American Parkinson Disease Association Massachusetts Chapter will support this vital programming for those recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD). The program is open to anyone diagnosed with PD within the past 5 years, as well as their friends, family, and/or care partners. Participants will receive up-to-date information on PD diagnosis, its treatment, as well as resources available to people with PD throughout Massachusetts. Learn more about this program here.
