BUMC Movement Disorder Group Presents Posters at Movement Disorder Conference in Hong Kong

Members of the BUMC Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Group presented two posters at this year’s International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders in Hong Kong. Team members contributing to the posters included Stephanie Bissonnette, DO, MPH; Raymond James, BS, RN; Marie-Helene Saint Hilaire, MD, FRCPC; Cathi A. Thomas, MS, RN; and Okeanis Vaou, MD. The first poster presented was “Novel biomarkers of autonomic regulation and sleep in Parkinson’s Disease derived from Network Physiology,” authored by O. Vaou, P. Ivanof, A. DePold‐Hohler, F. Lombardi, R. Endalatpour, A. Quaicoe.

MicroRNA Poster

“MicroRNAs as Biomarkers for Parkinson’s Disease”  involved collaboration between BUMC researchers, including Stephanie Bissonnette, DO, MPH (pictured); Cathi A. Thomas, MS, RN; Raymond James, BS, RN; Marie-Helene Saint Hilaire, MD, FRCPC; and Rick Myers, PhD.

Minority Populations Poster

“Recruitment of Minority Populations in Parkinson’s” presented the work of Chantale Branson, MD; Stephanie Bissonnette, DO, MPH; Okeanis Vaou, MD; and Marie Saint-Hilaire, MD, FRCPC.
